Dr. Laronda presents a Keynote Lecture at the BIOGEL conference in Germany

Dr. Laronda was invited to present her research toward a functional Bioprosthetic Ovary, and how engineered biomaterials and architecture played a crucial role in the successful transplant with mouse follicles. This was the 2nd Theodore von Kármán – Discussion Conference on Materials for Life: Bioinspired and Biomimetic Hydrogels that took place on April 15-18 2018 at the Kardinal Schulte Haus in Bergisch Gladbach, Germany. The conference attracted innovative biomaterial scientist and chemists, including Dr.-Ing. Laura De Laporte, Dr. Sarah Heilshorn, Dr. Tatiana Segura, Dr. Cole DeForest, Prof. Dr. Jurgen Groll and Dr. Stefan Jockenhovel.
